Verse 2

and were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

Exod 14:31 : 31 Israel saw the great work which Yahweh did to the Egyptians, and the people feared Yahweh; and they believed in Yahweh, and in his servant Moses.
John 9:28-29 : 28 They insulted him and said, "You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses. 29 We know that God has spoken to Moses. But as for this man, we don't know where he comes from."
Rom 6:3 : 3 Or don't you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
