Verse 17

If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the smelling be?

1 Sam 9:9 : 9 (In earlier times in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, thus he said, "Come, and let us go to the seer;" for he who is now called a prophet was before called a Seer.)
Ps 94:9 : 9 He who implanted the ear, won't he hear? He who formed the eye, won't he see?
Ps 139:13-16 : 13 For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. 14 I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. 15 My frame wasn't hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.
Prov 20:12 : 12 The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, Yahweh has made even both of them.
1 Cor 12:21 : 21 The eye can't tell the hand, "I have no need for you," or again the head to the feet, "I have no need for you."
1 Cor 12:29 : 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers?
