Verse 13

Go in to king David, and tell him, 'Didn't you, my lord, king, swear to your handmaid, saying, Assuredly Solomon your son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne? Why then does Adonijah reign?'

Be strong, and courageous. Don't be afraid, neither be dismayed.
1 Chr 29:23 : 23 Then Solomon sat on the throne of Yahweh as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.
Ps 132:11-12 : 11 Yahweh has sworn to David in truth. He will not turn from it: "I will set the fruit of your body on your throne. 12 If your children will keep my covenant, my testimony that I will teach them, their children also will sit on your throne forevermore."
