Verse 34

This thing became sin to the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the surface of the earth.

1 Kgs 12:30 : 30 This thing became a sin; for the people went [to worship] before the one, even to Dan.
1 Kgs 14:10 : 10 therefore, behold, I will bring evil on the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam everyone who urinates on a wall, he who is shut up and he who is left at large in Israel, and will utterly sweep away the house of Jeroboam, as a man sweeps away dung, until it is all gone.

1 Kgs 12:26 : 26 Jeroboam said in his heart, "Now the kingdom will return to the house of David.
