Verse 1

The word of Yahweh came to Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasha, saying,

Herein you have done foolishly; for from henceforth you shall have wars." 10 Then Asa was angry with the seer, and put him in the prison; for he was in a rage with him because of this thing. Asa oppressed some of the people at the same time.
• 1 Kgs 15:33 : 33 In the third year of Asa king of Judah began Baasha the son of Ahijah to reign over all Israel in Tirzah, [and reigned] twenty-four years.
