Verse 3

For though we walk in the flesh, we don't wage war according to the flesh;

2 Tim 2:3-4 : 3 You therefore must endure hardship, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4 No soldier on duty entangles himself in the affairs of life, that he may please him who enrolled him as a soldier.
1 Pet 4:1-2 : 1 Forasmuch then as Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind; for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin; 2 that you no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
1 Tim 1:18 : 18 This instruction I commit to you, my child Timothy, according to the prophecies which led the way to you, that by them you may wage the good warfare;
2 Tim 4:7 : 7 I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith.
Rom 8:13 : 13 For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
2 Cor 10:4 : 4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds,
Gal 2:20 : 20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.
Heb 12:1 : 1 Therefore let us also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
