Verse 1

This is now, beloved, the second letter that I have written to you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by reminding you;

• Ps 73:1 : 1 Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart.
• 1 Tim 5:22 : 22 Lay hands hastily on no one, neither be a participant in other men's sins. Keep yourself pure.
