Verse 27

How are the mighty fallen, and the weapons of war perished!"

2 Sam 1:25 : 25 How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! Jonathan is slain on your high places.
2 Sam 1:19 : 19 "Your glory, Israel, is slain on your high places! How the mighty have fallen!
2 Kgs 2:12 : 12 Elisha saw it, and he cried, "My father, my father, the chariots of Israel and its horsemen!" He saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and tore them in two pieces.
2 Kgs 13:14 : 14 Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness of which he died: and Joash the king of Israel came down to him, and wept over him, and said, "My father, my father, the chariots of Israel and its horsemen!"
Ps 46:9 : 9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire.
Ezek 39:9-9 : 9 Those who dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall make fires of the weapons and burn them, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the war clubs, and the spears, and they shall make fires of them seven years; 10 so that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall make fires of the weapons; and they shall plunder those who plundered them, and rob those who robbed them, says the Lord Yahweh.
