Verse 24

So Moses listened to the voice of his father-in-law, and did all that he had said.

Exod 18:2-5 : 2 Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, received Zipporah, Moses' wife, after he had sent her away, 3 and her two sons. The name of one son was Gershom, for Moses said, "I have lived as a foreigner in a foreign land". 4 The name of the other was Eliezer, for he said, "My father's God was my help and delivered me from Pharaoh's sword." 5 Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, came with his sons and his wife to Moses into the wilderness where he was encamped, at the Mountain of God.
Exod 18:19 : 19 Listen now to my voice. I will give you counsel, and God be with you. You represent the people before God, and bring the causes to God.
Ezra 10:2 : 2 Shecaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, answered Ezra, "We have trespassed against our God, and have married foreign women of the peoples of the land. Yet now there is hope for Israel concerning this thing.
Ezra 10:5 : 5 Then Ezra arose, and made the chiefs of the priests, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they would do according to this word. So they swore.
Prov 1:5 : 5 that the wise man may hear, and increase in learning; that the man of understanding may attain to sound counsel:
