Rom 12:16 : 16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Don't set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don't be wise in your own conceits.
1 Tim 6:17 : 17 Charge those who are rich in this present world that they not be haughty, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy;
Jas 4:13-14 : 13 Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow let's go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit." 14 Whereas you don't know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away.
