Verse 26

Let's not become conceited, provoking one another, and envying one another.

Luke 14:10 : 10 But when you are invited, go and sit in the lowest place, so that when he who invited you comes, he may tell you, 'Friend, move up higher.' Then you will be honored in the presence of all who sit at the table with you.
1 Cor 3:7 : 7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
Gal 5:15 : 15 But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don't consume one another.
Phil 2:1-3 : 1 If there is therefore any exhortation in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassion, 2 make my joy full, by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind; 3 doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself;
Jas 3:14-16 : 14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.
Jas 4:16 : 16 But now you glory in your boasting. All such boasting is evil.
1 Pet 5:5 : 5 Likewise, you younger ones, be subject to the elder. Yes, all of you clothe yourselves with humility, to subject yourselves to one another; for "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."
