Verse 24

and they took him, and threw him into the pit. The pit was empty. There was no water in it.

Jer 38:6 : 6 Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchijah the king's son, that was in the court of the guard: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. In the dungeon there was no water, but mire; and Jeremiah sank in the mire.
Lam 3:52-55 : 52 They have chased me relentlessly like a bird, those who are my enemies without cause. 53 They have cut off my life in the dungeon, and have cast a stone on me. 54 Waters flowed over my head; I said, I am cut off. 55 I called on your name, Yahweh, out of the lowest dungeon.
Lam 4:20 : 20 The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of Yahweh, was taken in their pits; Of whom we said, Under his shadow we shall live among the nations.
Zech 9:11 : 11 As for you also, because of the blood of your covenant, I have set free your prisoners from the pit in which is no water.
Ps 35:7 : 7 For without cause they have hidden their net in a pit for me. Without cause they have dug a pit for my soul.
Ps 40:2 : 2 He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand.
Ps 88:6 : 6 You have laid me in the lowest pit, in the darkest depths.
Ps 88:8 : 8 You have taken my friends from me. You have made me an abomination to them. I am confined, and I can't escape.
