Verse 3

It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do to them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.

Jonah 3:8-9 : 8 but let them be covered with sackcloth, both man and animal, and let them cry mightily to God. God relented of the disaster which he said he would do to them, and he didn't do it.
Zeph 2:3 : 3 Seek Yahweh, all you humble of the land, who have kept his ordinances. Seek righteousness. Seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of Yahweh's anger.
