Verse 17

For, behold, I will send serpents, adders, among you, which will not be charmed; and they shall bite you, says Yahweh.

Deut 32:24 : 24 [They shall be] wasted with hunger, and devoured with burning heat and bitter destruction. I will send the teeth of animals on them, With the poison of crawling things of the dust.
Ps 58:4-5 : 4 Their poison is like the poison of a snake; like a deaf cobra that stops its ear, 5 which doesn't listen to the voice of charmers, no matter how skillful the charmer may be.
Eccl 10:11 : 11 If the snake bites before it is charmed, then is there no profit for the charmer's tongue.
Num 21:6 : 6 Yahweh sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many people of Israel died.
Isa 14:29 : 29 Don't rejoice, O Philistia, all of you, because the rod that struck you is broken; for out of the serpent's root an adder will emerge, and his fruit will be a fiery flying serpent.
Amos 5:19 : 19 As if a man fled from a lion, and a bear met him; Or he went into the house and leaned his hand on the wall, and a snake bit him.
Amos 9:3 : 3 Though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out there; and though they be hidden from my sight in the bottom of the sea, there I will command the serpent, and it will bite them.
Rev 9:19 : 19 For the power of the horses is in their mouths, and in their tails. For their tails are like serpents, and have heads, and with them they harm.
