Verse 6

The children of Israel grieved for Benjamin their brother, and said, "There is one tribe cut off from Israel this day.

Judg 21:15 : 15 The people grieved for Benjamin, because that Yahweh had made a breach in the tribes of Israel.
2 Sam 2:26 : 26 Then Abner called to Joab, and said, "Shall the sword devour forever? Don't you know that it will be bitterness in the latter end? How long shall it be then, before you ask the people to return from following their brothers?"
Hos 11:8 : 8 "How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I make you like Zeboiim? My heart is turned within me, my compassion is aroused.

Judg 20:23 : 23 The children of Israel went up and wept before Yahweh until evening; and they asked of Yahweh, saying, "Shall I again draw near to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother?" Yahweh said, "Go up against him."
