Verse 10

He is to me as a bear lying in wait, as a lion in secret places.

Job 10:16 : 16 If my head is held high, you hunt me like a lion. Again you show yourself powerful to me.
Ps 10:9 : 9 He lurks in secret as a lion in his ambush. He lies in wait to catch the helpless. He catches the helpless, when he draws him in his net.
Ps 17:12 : 12 He is like a lion that is greedy of his prey, as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
Isa 38:13 : 13 I waited patiently until morning. He breaks all my bones like a lion. From day even to night you will make an end of me.
Hos 5:14 : 14 For I will be to Ephraim like a lion, and like a young lion to the house of Judah. I myself will tear in pieces and go away. I will carry off, and there will be no one to deliver.
Hos 6:1 : 1 "Come, and let us return to Yahweh; for he has torn us to pieces, and he will heal us; he has injured us, and he will bind up our wounds.
Hos 13:7-8 : 7 Therefore I am like a lion to them. Like a leopard, I will lurk by the path. 8 I will meet them like a bear that is bereaved of her cubs, and will tear the covering of their heart. There I will devour them like a lioness. The wild animal will tear them.
Amos 5:18-20 : 18 "Woe to you who desire the day of Yahweh! Why do you long for the day of Yahweh? It is darkness, and not light. 19 As if a man fled from a lion, and a bear met him; Or he went into the house and leaned his hand on the wall, and a snake bit him. 20 Won't the day of Yahweh be darkness, and not light? Even very dark, and no brightness in it?
