Verse 45

You have made us an off-scouring and refuse in the midst of the peoples.

1 Cor 4:13 : 13 Being defamed, we entreat. We are made as the filth of the world, the dirt wiped off by all, even until now.
Deut 28:13 : 13 Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath; if you shall listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God, which I command you this day, to observe and to do [them],
Deut 28:37 : 37 You shall become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all the peoples where Yahweh shall lead you away.
Deut 28:44 : 44 He shall lend to you, and you shall not lend to him: he shall be the head, and you shall be the tail.
Lam 2:15 : 15 All that pass by clap their hands at you. They hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, [saying], Is this the city that men called The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth?
Lam 3:14 : 14 I am become a derision to all my people, and their song all the day.
Lam 4:14-15 : 14 They wander as blind men in the streets, they are polluted with blood, So that men can't touch their garments. 15 Depart! they cried to them, Unclean! depart, depart, don't touch! When they fled away and wandered, men said among the nations, They shall no more live [here].
