Verse 17

Don't you understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the belly, and then out of the body?

1 Cor 6:13 : 13 "Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods," but God will bring to nothing both it and them. But the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
Col 2:21-22 : 21 "Don't handle, nor taste, nor touch" 22 (all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men?
Jas 3:6 : 6 And the tongue is a fire. The world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by Gehenna.
2 Kgs 10:27 : 27 They broke down the pillar of Baal, and broke down the house of Baal, and made it a latrine, to this day.
Matt 7:19-20 : 19 Every tree that doesn't grow good fruit is cut down, and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore, by their fruits you will know them.
Luke 6:45 : 45 The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks.
