Misfortune pursues sinners, but prosperity rewards the righteous.

Ps 32:10 : 10 Many sorrows come to the wicked, but loving kindness shall surround him who trusts in Yahweh.
Gen 4:7 : 7 If you do well, will it not be lifted up? If you don't do well, sin crouches at the door. Its desire is for you, but you are to rule over it."
Prov 13:13 : 13 Whoever despises instruction will pay for it, but he who respects a command will be rewarded.
Isa 3:10-11 : 10 Tell the righteous "Good!" For they shall eat the fruit of their deeds. 11 Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them; for the deeds of his hands will be paid back to him.
Rom 2:7-9 : 7 to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory, honor, and incorruptibility, eternal life; 8 but to those who are self-seeking, and don't obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, will be wrath and indignation, 9 oppression and anguish, on every soul of man who works evil, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 10 But glory, honor, and peace go to every man who works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Acts 28:4 : 4 When the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said one to another, "No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he has escaped from the sea, yet Justice has not allowed to live."
Num 32:23 : 23 "But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against Yahweh; and be sure your sin will find you out.
Ps 140:11 : 11 An evil speaker won't be established in the earth. Evil will hunt the violent man to overthrow him.
