Verse 2

The terror of a king is like the roaring of a lion. He who provokes him to anger forfeits his own life.

Prov 8:36 : 36 But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul. All those who hate me love death."
Prov 19:12 : 12 The king's wrath is like the roaring of a lion, but his favor is like dew on the grass.
1 Kgs 2:23 : 23 Then king Solomon swore by Yahweh, saying, "God do so to me, and more also, if Adonijah has not spoken this word against his own life.
Num 16:38 : 38 even the censers of these sinners against their own lives; and let them be made beaten plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them before Yahweh; therefore they are holy; and they shall be a sign to the children of Israel."
