Verse 9

when your fathers tempted me, tested me, and saw my work.

Num 14:22 : 22 because all those men who have seen my glory, and my signs, which I worked in Egypt and in the wilderness, yet have tempted me these ten times, and have not listened to my voice;
1 Cor 10:9 : 9 Neither let us test the Lord, as some of them tested, and perished by the serpents.
Ps 78:56 : 56 Yet they tempted and rebelled against the Most High God, and didn't keep his testimonies;
Matt 11:20-22 : 20 Then he began to denounce the cities in which most of his mighty works had been done, because they didn't repent. 21 "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! John 15:24 : 24 If I hadn't done among them the works which no one else did, they wouldn't have had sin. But now have they seen and also hated both me and my Father.
Ps 78:17-18 : 17 Yet they still went on to sin against him, to rebel against the Most High in the desert. 18 They tempted God in their heart by asking food according to their desire.
Ps 78:40-41 : 40 How often they rebelled against him in the wilderness, and grieved him in the desert! 41 They turned again and tempted God, and provoked the Holy One of Israel.
