Verse 7

For he who has died has been freed from sin.

Rom 7:4 : 4 Therefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit to God.
1 Pet 4:1 : 1 Forasmuch then as Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind; for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin;
Rom 8:1 : 1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Col 3:1-3 : 1 If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
Rom 6:8 : 8 But if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him;
Rom 7:2 : 2 For the woman that has a husband is bound by law to the husband while he lives, but if the husband dies, she is discharged from the law of the husband.
Rom 6:2 : 2 May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?
