Verse 19

We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

1 John 5:10 : 10 He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who doesn't believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son.
1 John 3:14 : 14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who doesn't love his brother remains in death.
