Verse 14
The cart came into the field of Joshua the Beth-shemite, and stood there, where there was a great stone: and they split the wood of the cart, and offered up the cattle for a burnt offering to Yahweh.

He said, Do it the third time; and they did it the third time. 35 The water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water. 36 It happened at the time of the offering of the [evening] offering, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, Yahweh, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that you are God in Israel, and that I am your servant, and that I have done all these things at your word. 37 Hear me, Yahweh, hear me, that this people may know that you, Yahweh, are God, and [that] you have turned their heart back again. 38 Then the fire of Yahweh fell, and consumed the burnt offering, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.

There was peace between Israel and the Amorites. 15 Samuel judged Israel all the days of his life. 16 He went from year to year in circuit to Bethel and Gilgal, and Mizpah; and he judged Israel in all those places. 17 His return was to Ramah, for there was his house; and there he judged Israel: and he built there an altar to Yahweh.
