Verse 9

On the eighth day they held a solemn assembly: for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.

Lev 23:36 : 36 Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh. On the eighth day shall be a holy convocation to you; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh. It is a solemn assembly; you shall do no regular work.
Deut 16:8 : 8 Six days you shall eat unleavened bread; and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to Yahweh your God; you shall do no work [therein].
1 Kgs 8:65 : 65 So Solomon held the feast at that time, and all Israel with him, a great assembly, from the entrance of Hamath to the brook of Egypt, before Yahweh our God, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days.
2 Chr 30:23 : 23 The whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days; and they kept [other] seven days with gladness.
