Verse 24

So Moses listened to the voice of his father-in-law, and did all that he had said.

Exod 18:2-5 : 2 Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, received Zipporah, Moses' wife, after he had sent her away, 3 and her two sons. The name of one son was Gershom,{"Gershom" sounds like the Hebrew for "an alien there."} for Moses said, "I have lived as a foreigner in a foreign land". 4 The name of the other was Eliezer,{Eliezer means "God is my helper."} for he said, "My father's God was my help and delivered me from Pharaoh's sword." 5 Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, came with his sons and his wife to Moses into the wilderness where he was encamped, at the Mountain of God.
Exod 18:19 : 19 Listen now to my voice. I will give you counsel, and God be with you. You represent the people before God, and bring the causes to God.
Ezra 10:2 : 2 Shecaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, answered Ezra, We have trespassed against our God, and have married foreign women of the peoples of the land: yet now there is hope for Israel concerning this thing.
Ezra 10:5 : 5 Then arose Ezra, and made the chiefs of the priests, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they would do according to this word. So they swore.
Prov 1:5 : 5 That the wise man may hear, and increase in learning; That the man of understanding may attain to sound counsel:
