Verse 18

Abraham said to God, "Oh that Ishmael might live before you!"

Gen 4:12 : 12 From now on, when you till the ground, it won't yield its strength to you. You shall be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth."
Gen 4:14 : 14 Behold, you have driven me out this day from the surface of the ground. I will be hidden from your face, and I will be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth. It will happen that whoever finds me will kill me."
Ps 4:6 : 6 Many say, "Who will show us any good?" Yahweh, let the light of your face shine on us.
Ps 41:12 : 12 As for me, you uphold me in my integrity, And set me in your presence forever.
Isa 59:2 : 2 but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.
