Verse 31

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Isa 33:14 : 14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling has seized the godless ones: Who among us can dwell with the devouring fire? who among us can dwell with everlasting burning?
Matt 10:28 : 28 Don't be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
Luke 12:5 : 5 But I will warn you whom you should fear. Fear him, who after he has killed, has power to cast into Gehenna.{or, Hell} Yes, I tell you, fear him.
Heb 12:29 : 29 for our God is a consuming fire.
Heb 10:27 : 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which will devour the adversaries.

Luke 21:11 : 11 There will be great earthquakes, famines, and plagues in various places. There will be terrors and great signs from heaven.
