Verse 37

The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.

Rom 10:17 : 17 So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Zech 8:21 : 21 and the inhabitants of one shall go to another, saying, 'Let us go speedily to entreat the favor of Yahweh, and to seek Yahweh of Hosts. I will go also.'

John 4:39-42 : 39 From that city many of the Samaritans believed in him because of the word of the woman, who testified, "He told me everything that I did." 40 So when the Samaritans came to him, they begged him to stay with them. He stayed there two days. 41 Many more believed because of his word. 42 They said to the woman, "Now we believe, not because of your speaking; for we have heard for ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world."
Rev 22:17 : 17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" He who hears, let him say, "Come!" He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.
Prov 15:23 : 23 Joy comes to a man with the reply of his mouth. How good is a word at the right time!
Eph 4:29 : 29 Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.
