Verse 45

Now from the sixth hour{noon} there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.{3:00 P. M.}

Amos 8:9 : 9 "It will happen in that day," says the Lord Yahweh, "That I will cause the sun to go down at noon, And I will darken the earth in the clear day.
Luke 23:44-45 : 44 It was now about the sixth hour{Time was counted from sunrise, so the sixth hour was about noon.}, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour.{3:00 PM} 45 The sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two.
