Verse 8

Therefore don't be like them, for your Father knows what things you need, before you ask him.

Matt 6:32 : 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
Ps 38:9 : 9 Lord, all my desire is before you. My groaning is not hidden from you.
Luke 12:30 : 30 For the nations of the world seek after all of these things, but your Father knows that you need these things.
Phil 4:6 : 6 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
John 16:23-27 : 23 "In that day you will ask me no questions. Most assuredly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. 24 Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full. 25 I have spoken these things to you in figures of speech. But the time is coming when I will no more speak to you in figures of speech, but will tell you plainly about the Father. 26 In that day you will ask in my name; and I don't say to you, that I will pray to the Father for you, 27 for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came forth from God.
Ps 69:17-19 : 17 Don't hide your face from your servant, For I am in distress. Answer me speedily! 18 Draw near to my soul, and redeem it. Ransom me because of my enemies. 19 You know my reproach, my shame, and my dishonor. My adversaries are all before you.
