Verse 19

what then do I say? that an idol is anything? or that a sacrifice offered to an idol is anything? --

1 Cor 8:4 : 4 Concerning the eating then of the things sacrificed to idols, we have known that an idol `is' nothing in the world, and that there is no other God except one;
1 Cor 13:2 : 2 and if I have prophecy, and know all the secrets, and all the knowledge, and if I have all the faith, so as to remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing;
2 Cor 12:11 : 11 I have become a fool -- boasting; ye -- ye did compel me; for I ought by you to have been commended, for in nothing was I behind the very chiefest apostles -- even if I am nothing.
Deut 32:21 : 21 They have made Me zealous by `no-god,' They made Me angry by their vanities; And I make them zealous by `no-people,' By a foolish nation I make them angry.
Isa 40:17 : 17 All the nations `are' as nothing before Him, Less than nothing and emptiness, They have been reckoned to Him.

1 Cor 1:28 : 28 and the base things of the world, and the things despised did God choose, and the things that are not, that the things that are He may make useless --
