Verse 7

The Lord hath cast off His altar, He hath rejected His sanctuary, He hath shut up into the hand of the enemy The walls of her palaces, A noise they have made in the house of Jehovah Like a day of appointment.

Isa 64:10-11 : 10 Thy holy cities have been a wilderness, Zion a wilderness hath been, Jerusalem a desolation. 11 Our holy and our beautiful house, Where praise Thee did our fathers, Hath become burnt with fire, And all our desirable things have become a waste.

Jer 33:3-5 : 3 Call unto Me, and I do answer thee, yea, I declare to thee great and fenced things -- thou hast not known them. 4 For thus said Jehovah, God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, that are broken down for the mounts, and for the tool; 5 they are coming in to fight with the Chaldeans, and to fill them with the carcases of men, whom I have smitten in Mine anger, and in My fury, and `for' whom I have hidden My face from this city, because of all their evil:
Jer 39:8 : 8 And the house of the king, and the house of the people, have the Chaldeans burnt with fire, and the walls of Jerusalem they have broken down.
