Amen! and I have the keys of the hades and of the death. 19 `Write the things that thou hast seen, and the things that are, and the things that are about to come after these things; 20 the secret of the seven stars that thou hast seen upon my right hand, and the seven golden lamp-stands: the seven stars are messengers of the seven assemblies, and the seven lamp-stands that thou hast seen are seven assemblies. 1 `To the messenger of the Ephesian assembly write: These things saith he who is holding the seven stars in his right hand, who is walking in the midst of the seven lamp-stands -- the golden: 2 I have known thy works, and thy labour, and thy endurance, and that thou art not able to bear evil ones, and that thou hast tried those saying themselves to be apostles and are not, and hast found them liars, 3 and thou didst bear, and hast endurance, and because of my name hast toiled, and hast not been weary.
