እስራኤል ልጆች በመጀመሪያው ወር አሥራ አራተኛው ቀን በተወሰነው ሰዓት ይመጡ ጳስካን ይዘርዱ፤ በማታዎች መካከል ከቀኑ ሶስተኛ ክፍል ጀምሮ እስከ ሌሊቱ ሶስተኛ ክፍል ድረስ፤ ምክንያቱም የቀኑ ሁለት ክፍሎች ለብርሃን ተሰጥተዋል፣ ሶስተኛው ክፍል ለማታ ነው።
