My covenant with him was one of life and peace, and I gave them to him. It called for reverence, and he revered Me and stood in awe of My name.

This is a perpetual ordinance for your generations, but they shall not have any inheritance among the Israelites. 24 For I have given the Levites the tithes that the Israelites present as a contribution to the LORD as their inheritance. That is why I told them they shall have no inheritance among the Israelites.
