Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.

God, deliver me! LORD, hurry to help me!

Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.

Let those who seek my life be ashamed and humiliated. Let those who desire my harm retreat in disgrace.

Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.

Let those who say, "Aha! Aha!" turn back because of their shame.

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

Let all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let those who love your salvation always declare, "God is great!"

But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.

But I am poor and needy; God, hurry to me. You are my help and my deliverer; LORD, do not delay.
