3seeing that ye seek a proof of Christ that speaketh in me; who to you-ward is not weak, but is powerful in you:
13but ye know that because of an infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you the first time:
29that no flesh should glory before God.
1Now we that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
4though I myself might have confidence even in the flesh: if any other man thinketh to have confidence in the flesh, I yet more:
7But if the truth of God through my lie abounded unto his glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?
10But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not found vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
13But I speak to you that are Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I glorify my ministry;
24and they glorified God in me.
1Would that ye could bear with me in a little foolishness: but indeed ye do bear with me.
30If I partake with thankfulness, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?
7Or did I commit a sin in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I preached to you the gospel of God for nought?
9For we rejoice, when we are weak, and ye are strong: this we also pray for, even your perfecting.
10For this cause I write these things while absent, that I may not when present deal sharply, according to the authority which the Lord gave me for building up, and not for casting down.
3My defence to them that examine me is this.
