8The Lord Jehovah hath sworn by himself, saith Jehovah, the God of hosts: I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces; therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein. [

2The Lord hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: He hath thrown down in his wrath the strongholds of the daughter of Judah; He hath brought them down to the ground; he hath profaned the kingdom and the princes thereof.
40and I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.
11And they forgat his doings, And his wondrous works that he had showed them.

7That they might set their hope in God, And not forget the works of God, But keep his commandments,
35Once have I sworn by my holiness: I will not lie unto David:
27Remember thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin,
8neither will I cause the feet of Israel to wander any more out of the land which I gave their fathers, if only they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
2And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now have their own doings beset them about; they are before my face.
7I will make mention of the lovingkindnesses of Jehovah, [and] the praises of Jehovah, according to all that Jehovah hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.
22Therefore thus saith Jehovah, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob: Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale.
2Jehovah hath also a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings will he recompense him.
6Jehovah repented concerning this: this also shall not be, saith the Lord Jehovah.
17And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel for an everlasting covenant,
11He saith in his heart, God hath forgotten; He hideth his face; he will never see it.

34And the children of Israel remembered not Jehovah their God, who had delivered them out of the hand of all their enemies on every side;
15And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be plucked up out of their land which I have given them, saith Jehovah thy God.
16so that he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
9Shall I not visit them for these things? saith Jehovah; shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
