28But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him; for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.
1Now Joshua was old and well stricken in years; and Jehovah said unto him, Thou art old and well stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.
7And Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

18I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish; ye shall not prolong your days in the land, whither thou passest over the Jordan to go in to possess it.
52For thou shalt see the land before thee; but thou shalt not go thither into the land which I give the children of Israel.
21I also will not henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations that Joshua left when he died;

16And Jehovah said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and play the harlot after the strange gods of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.
29as the children of Esau that dwell in Seir, and the Moabites that dwell in Ar, did unto me; until I shall pass over the Jordan into the land which Jehovah our God giveth us.
30And he said unto him, I will not go; but I will depart to mine own land, and to my kindred.
17that Jehovah spake unto me, saying,
18Thou art this day to pass over Ar, the border of Moab:
34And Barzillai said unto the king, How many are the days of the years of my life, that I should go up with the king unto Jerusalem?
