19For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith Jehovah was wroth against you to destroy you. But Jehovah hearkened unto me that time also.
20And Jehovah was very angry with Aaron to destroy him: and I prayed for Aaron also at the same time.

12And Jehovah said unto me, Arise, get thee down quickly from hence; for thy people that thou hast brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten image.

17Yet went they on still to sin against him, To rebel against the Most High in the desert.
19And we journeyed from Horeb, and went through all that great and terrible wilderness which ye saw, by the way to the hill-country of the Amorites, as Jehovah our God commanded us; and we came to Kadesh-barnea.
21Furthermore Jehovah was angry with me for your sakes, and sware that I should not go over the Jordan, and that I should not go in unto that good land, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee for an inheritance:
16But they and our fathers dealt proudly and hardened their neck, and hearkened not to thy commandments,
8Harden not your heart, as at Meribah, As in the day of Massah in the wilderness;
