16Or know ye not that he that is joined to a harlot is one body? for, The twain, saith he, shall become one flesh.
17But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
18Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own;
12For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.
5and said, For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh?
6So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

20But now they are many members, but one body.

15but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, [even] Christ;
16from whom all the body fitly framed and knit together through that which every joint supplieth, according to the working in [due] measure of each several part, maketh the increase of the body unto the building up of itself in love.

5For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were through the law, wrought in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

5For if we have become united with [him] in the likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of his resurrection;
21in whom each several building, fitly framed together, groweth into a holy temple in the Lord;
