9And Jehovah said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
10And Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, every man at the door of his tent: and the anger of Jehovah was kindled greatly; and Moses was displeased.
24And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet spices there shall be rottenness; and instead of a girdle, a rope; and instead of well set hair, baldness; and instead of a robe, a girding of sackcloth; branding instead of beauty.

31And Moses returned unto Jehovah, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.

22And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing-hearted, [and] brought brooches, and ear-rings, and signet-rings, and armlets, all jewels of gold; even every man that offered an offering of gold unto Jehovah.
11And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do not more any such wickedness as this is in the midst of thee.
20And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.
35And Jehovah smote the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.
8For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and wail; for the fierce anger of Jehovah is not turned back from us.
