22As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that I, Jehovah, have poured out my wrath upon you.
23And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

18By the multitude of thine iniquities, in the unrighteousness of thy traffic, thou hast profaned thy sanctuaries; therefore have I brought forth a fire from the midst of thee; it hath devoured thee, and I have turned thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
4Behold, it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire hath devoured both the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned: is it profitable for any work?
5Behold, when it was whole, it was meet for no work: how much less, when the fire hath devoured it, and it is burned, shall it yet be meet for any work!

20As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty; but they made the images of their abominations [and] their detestable things therein: therefore have I made it unto them as an unclean thing.
5And he burnt the bones of the priests upon their altars, and purged Judah and Jerusalem.
3And he made all the vessels of the altar, the pots, and the shovels, and the basins, the flesh-hooks, and the firepans: all the vessels thereof made he of brass.

5And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn:
8And he that burneth her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the even.
12And the peoples shall be as the burnings of lime, as thorns cut down, that are burned in the fire.
24And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein; only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of Jehovah.

15And I will scatter thee among the nations, and disperse thee through the countries; and I will consume thy filthiness out of thee.
