Verse 8

And he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;

Song 2:14 : 14 O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, In the covert of the steep place, Let me see thy countenance, Let me hear thy voice; For sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.
Gen 8:10-12 : 10 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark; 11 and the dove came in to him at eventide; and, lo, in her mouth an olive-leaf plucked off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth. 12 And he stayed yet other seven days, and sent forth the dove; and she returned not again unto him any more.
Song 1:15 : 15 Behold, thou art fair, my love; Behold thou art fair; Thine eyes are [as] doves.
