12lest, when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;
13and when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;
9Get you no gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses;
25Therefore I say unto you, be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the raiment?
23let us hold fast the confession of our hope that it waver not; for he is faithful that promised:

16And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go out from thee; because he loveth thee and thy house, because he is well with thee;
15And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee whithersoever thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.
8And God is able to make all grace abound unto you; that ye, having always all sufficiency in everything, may abound unto every good work:
18But thou shalt remember Jehovah thy God, for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as at this day.
10He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance, with increase: this also is vanity.
16But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
12Take heed, brethren, lest haply there shall be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God:
11Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfected; be comforted; be of the same mind; live in peace: and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
6In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
5I thought it necessary therefore to entreat the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your aforepromised bounty, that the same might be ready as a matter of bounty, and not of extortion.

9But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak:
10for God is not unrighteous to forget your work and the love which ye showed toward his name, in that ye ministered unto the saints, and still do minister.
19Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal:
31for Jehovah thy God is a merciful God; he will not fail thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.
9Be not carried away by divers and strange teachings: for it is good that the heart be established by grace; not by meats, wherein they that occupied themselves were not profited.
