30surely ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware that I would make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
23And when Jehovah sent you from Kadesh-barnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then ye rebelled against the commandment of Jehovah your God, and ye believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice.
16Because Jehovah was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.
34And Jehovah heard the voice of your words, and was wroth, and sware, saying,
35Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see the good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,
3For what if some were without faith? shall their want of faith make of none effect the faithfulness of God?
5Howbeit with most of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
32Yet in this thing ye did not believe Jehovah your God,
5Now I desire to put you in remembrance, though ye know all things once for all, that the Lord, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
40How oft did they rebel against him in the wilderness, And grieve him in the desert!
11And Jehovah said unto Moses, How long will this people despise me? and how long will they not believe in me, for all the signs which I have wrought among them?
37For their heart was not right with him, Neither were they faithful in his covenant.
6For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the nation, even the men of war that came forth out of Egypt, were consumed, because they hearkened not unto the voice of Jehovah: unto whom Jehovah sware that he would not let them see the land which Jehovah sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land flowing with milk and honey.
8And might not be as their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation, A generation that set not their heart aright, And whose spirit was not stedfast with God.
