31the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?
14but have walked after the stubbornness of their own heart, and after the Baalim, which their fathers taught them;
17and let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbor; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith Jehovah.
18And the word of Jehovah of hosts came unto me, saying,
21And if thou say in thy heart, How shall we know the word which Jehovah hath not spoken?
3Therefore thus saith Jehovah: Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks, neither shall ye walk haughtily; for it is an evil time.
3Draw me not away with the wicked, And with the workers of iniquity; That speak peace with their neighbors, But mischief is in their hearts.
