9Hide not thy face from me; Put not thy servant away in anger: Thou hast been my help; Cast me not off, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
3Wherefore are we counted as beasts, [And] are become unclean in your sight?
2I will say unto God, Do not condemn me; Show me wherefore thou contendest with me.
8And thou hast laid fast hold on me, [which] is a witness [against me] : And my leanness riseth up against me, It testifieth to my face.
9He hath torn me in his wrath, and persecuted me; He hath gnashed upon me with his teeth: Mine adversary sharpeneth his eyes upon me.
19Consider mine enemies, for they are many; And they hate me with cruel hatred.
3For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; He hath smitten my life down to the ground: He hath made me to dwell in dark places, as those that have been long dead.
17Because I was not cut off before the darkness, Neither did he cover the thick darkness from my face.
11He hath also kindled his wrath against me, And he counteth me unto him as [one of] his adversaries.
23Yet, Jehovah, thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay me; forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from thy sight; but let them be overthrown before thee; deal thou with them in the time of thine anger.
7Let mine enemy be as the wicked, And let him that riseth up against me be as the unrighteous.
10How long, O God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?
16But now thou numberest my steps: Dost thou not watch over my sin?
3These ten times have ye reproached me: Ye are not ashamed that ye deal hardly with me.
2Hide not thy face from me in the day of my distress: Incline thine ear unto me; In the day when I call answer me speedily.
