27Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from Jehovah, and the justice [due] to me is passed away from my God?
25Now my days are swifter than a post: They flee away, they see no good,
11I said, I shall not see Jehovah, [even] Jehovah in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
23Am I a God at hand, saith Jehovah, and not a God afar off?
9Therefore is justice far from us, neither doth righteousness overtake us: we look for light, but, behold, darkness; for brightness, but we walk in obscurity.
23All this have I proved in wisdom: I said, I will be wise; but it was far from me.
